Business support for food sector extended into 2021

The University of Lincoln’s National Centre for Food Manufacturing (NCFM) is extending its research and innovation support provision into the early months of 2021 and is encouraging more SME’s to take advantage of the fully funded services available.

Agri-Food businesses across Greater Lincolnshire can benefit from fully funded support by joining the Greater Lincolnshire Agri-Food Innovation Platform which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.

This programme is set up to help sector businesses to innovate and grow through scientific support and knowledge sharing. It can provide support with new product development, nutritional analysis, food safety, food waste reduction, security, provenance, microbiology, chemistry, packaging and labelling.

NCFM can also help with projects involving robotics and automation.
