Holbeach Food Festival

The Holbeach Food Festival will be in its eighth year and is proving more popular every year.

Last year we had in excess of 3,000 people over the weekend with a range of food, drink and craft stalls alongside a strongman competition and other family activities!

Sat 3rd & Sun 4th September 2022
10am – 4pm
FREE Entry

Holbeach and the surrounding district of South Holland has a long history of producing food.

We are surrounded by the best farming land in the country, most of it grade 1 silt, which allows a massive variety of foods to be grown here, from potatoes, wheat (for bread and cereals), sugar beet, peas, cauliflowers, cabbages, leeks, carrots, parsnips and a range of lettuces to lesser known vegetables such as celeriac, chicory and Jerusalem Artichokes.

Livestock that can be seen in the area includes Lincoln Red Cattle, Belted Galloways, Sheep, goats, pigs, poultry and a number of bee keepers.

We have major food based employers in the Holbeach area all supplying major supermarkets, including companies making ready meals, supplying potatoes, vegetables and salads – all of whom are driven by what we eat.

On top of this we have a massive transport industry that distributes all this food through supermarkets both in this Country and throughout Europe.

Holbeach Food Festival aims to give you a taste of all the above & concentrates on our local grown food and drink!

Stands to sell your products are available at just £50 for the weekend

3m x 3m covered stalls can be provided, or you can bring your own gazebo.  To book your stall, email South Holland District Council Cllr Nick Worth at nickworth@sholland.gov.uk
